Roaches found their way into Pollokshields Primary School in Glasgow. However, it remained open amid the pest’s infestation.
Located at the south side of the city, the campus was plagued by the crawlies for three to four weeks. And as a result of it, the staff room was sealed.
The cockroaches were first detected at the school in early January. On the first week of February though, they were eliminated in a way that a Glasgow City Council spokeswoman described as swift, effective and without a risk to pupils.
On the first day of the elimination of the process, it was said that about 60 roaches were already killed.

“Pupils and staff at Pollokshields Primary School in the city’s south side were affected by the insects for around three to four weeks.
The problem was identified at the beginning of January and was dealt with this week after pest control workers came into the school.”
