Residences, such as houses and hotels, are very common spots of bed bugs. But besides them, hospitals are also some of their favorite hang outs for the same reason that they got a lot of people going in and out.
The recent bed bug case at St. Mary’s Hospital in Richmond, Virginia is one proof of that.

The hospital’s adult emergency department’s waiting room was shut down on Saturday because of those vampire-like critters. ER staff said that they were brought in by a patient, who was determined to have the critters during the initial evaluation at the triage center of the facility at about 11 am.

Immediately after the pesky insects were discovered, the room was closed for a treatment. It remained shut down for about four hours while adult patients were temporarily tended at the hospital’s pediatric emergency department.
