In September, Cedarbrook Middle School opened two weeks later than the others. That’s because of mold. It was also because of it that two weeks after its classes started, part of its cafeteria and its two classrooms were closed. However, the fungus wasn’t done just yet.
Recently, it was revealed that 10 more of the school’s classrooms were contaminated by mold. And so, their closure on October 14 was ordered.

The infestation of the mold spores was discovered after indoor quality tests were performed in 19 of the school’s classrooms. The result of those tests came out on Tuesday, October 08.

Regular classrooms and rooms for specialized classes of Family & Consumer Science and Sewing were particularly the ones affected. So in the meantime, class sessions were transferred. The school district also plans to hold a community discussion to solicit comments and reactions about the mold problem.

As you know, mold presents various health threats. And so, you could say that the closure of those ten classrooms is a necessary step to protect the health of the students.
However, shutting down a place and evacuating wouldn’t be necessary if you detect and kill mold early. If you discover its presence before it spread more than ten square feet, you could actually do the mold removal yourself. That saves you from an expensive mold removal by a professional and worse health effects.

Those two solutions are organic-based. When it comes to effectiveness, hospitals, hotels and mold-removal companies have already that they work. Apart from that, with Molderizer on killing mold spores and Safe Shield on blocking more of them, you could implement a complete mold remediation process.
