It’s not that they are welcome, but bed bugs have returned to a University of Washington’s dormitory.
The tiny critters particularly re-infested the campus’ Haggett Hall. And including their recent comeback, it was already the third time that they showed up in the dorm.

It was back in October 2013 when the vampire-like critters first appeared in the said residence hall. The bed bug bites in one of the students living in the housing were what led to the discovery of their presence. Specifically, it led to a complete inspection on the 11th of the same month, followed by a treatment when the pests were confirmed.

However, in December 2013, the pesky creatures were again sighted in the dormitory. The same thing happened just this January. And despite the bed bug elimination implemented on the 16th of January, still a number of the crawlies were found between the 16th to 27th day of the month.

“That night, I came back to my room and I saw this brown-black thing,” Alice said. “So I put a paper towel over it and I put it in a Ziploc baggie … and at that point it was pissed and running around really fast [in the bag] and I thought ‘Oh my God, what is this?’”
They contacted Haggett Hall Resident Director Jessica Hennessy to have the bug identified. Haggett Hall custodial supervisor Randall Riebe then confirmed that the creature was indeed a bed bug. Hennessy declined to provide comments on the matter.”

This bed bug case in the University of Washington dormitory shows just how stubborn those critters are. Nonetheless, that doesn’t mean that you wouldn’t be able to get rid of them completely once they got in. As long as you detect and kill bed bugs early, you could still save yourself from the worst things that they could bring.
But the question is, how do you detect and eliminate those crawlies early? Well, basically, there are two steps that you must take. First, you have to know the signs of their presence. Second, you have to prepare a bed bug spray.

By knowing the bed bug signs, you would easily know if those pesky insects get past your preventive measures. And with that, you could immediately take the appropriate actions and get rid of them while there are still a few of them.
Meanwhile, with a bed bug spray ready, it would much easier and faster for you to do the treatment. That cuts their opportunity to multiply and spread wider.

However, when picking the product to prepare, always remember that it must be safe besides effective. That’s so your health and that of your family would not be put at risk. Choose something like Bed Bug Bully as it releases no harmful chemicals, being an organic-based. In fact, it is even of EPA’s FIFRA 25(b) list as pesticide-exempt.
Bed Bug Bully is also truly effective. It could kill not just the adult bed bugs but also their eggs and nymphs.
