Just because they are called bed bugs doesn’t mean the tiny vampire-like critters, that are now very prevalent, are exclusive to houses. They could actually infest any place, even campuses.
In fact, in the past few months, there were already close to 20 reports of schools having to temporarily close due to bed bug infestation. And based on those reports, besides the classrooms and the dormitories, the libraries are some of the spots those critters really love to visit. Because of that, you could say that those crawlies have become some kind of book bugs as well.

The library of the University of Utah, in its J. Willard Marriott building, is the latest to prove that statement true. And just like with the many infestations in schools, it wasn’t determined what or who was the source of the pesky creatures.
Compared with other bed bug incidents in campuses though, this one was less severe. It only affected the third floor of the library. Nonetheless, to make sure that all the bed bugs in it will be eliminated, the floor was closed on Thursday, following the sighting of the pests on Tuesday.

The pest-control treatment in the affected area already started. However, it wasn’t determined when it will be completed.
Here is a part of the report about the Bed Bugs in University of Utah Library from kutv.com
“The third floor of the University of Utah library is closed until further notice, as pest control deals with a bed bug infestation.
“We don’t know where they came from or how they got into the building, but it’s not atypical,” said interim communications director for the university, Valoree Dowell. “The third floor is closed in an abundance of caution just because we want to make sure that they’re going to get rid of all of them.”
One reason why bed bugs now show up even in schools is the fact that they are very good hitchhikers. And you got to be very careful. While others may bring them to campuses, you, on the other hand, could pick them up and bring them to your house. Or, in other cases, someone could deliver them to your place unnoticed.

Because of those possibilities, besides taking preventive measures, you also got to be ready to kill bed bugs promptly. Else, their number will get out of control and you will be forced to get the costly professional help.
But how do you get ready for that? Know the signs of bed bugs and have a Bed Bug Bully prepared. And once you got their presence confirmed, launch your bed bug treatment immediately.

Why Bed Bug Bully though? You might be asking. The answer is simple. That’s because it could effectively kill bed bugs without leaving you harsh chemical residues to breathe in. It is made of organic ingredients and is already in EPA’s FIFRA 25(b) list. Moreover, hotels, hospitals and pest-control companies have already testified that it works.
