Last month, we shared with you the news about a San Luis Obispo shelter forced to close because of bed bugs. Recently, an update to it was published.
As we have related before, Maxine Lewis Memorial Shelter was specifically that shelter found to have the vampire-like insects. For its treatment to be implemented, its clients were temporarily transferred to Prado Day Center as we also shared.

Based on a recent report, the amount those pests cost the facility was disclosed. Particularly, it was said to have bitten about $10, 000 from the shelter’s money.

But aside from Maxine Lewis Memorial Shelter itself, Prado Day Center also became wary of the vampire-like pests. Although both are now cleared from bed bugs, actions were being taken in both facilities to keep the pests out. Specifically, it was said that new homeless service rules were being laid out.

“The homeless shelter in San Luis Obispo recently had a bed bugs infestation. The Maxine Lewis Memorial Shelter and Prado Day Center are both now in the clear, but keeping the lady bug-sized creatures out is the new focus.
“We have had two different pest controls and the dogs clear us on all three locations,” said Shawn Ison, Prado Day Center program manager.”

Indeed, it is difficult to completely get rid of bed bugs. Moreover, it could also be expensive. And just like Maxine Lewis Memorial Shelter, you too could spend thousands of dollars for a bed bug treatment.
However, such expense could be prevented. Though bed bugs are sneaky and could get past your preventive steps, you could detect them early and prevent their presence from turning into a massive infestation. That, in turn, spares you from the need to hire a bed bug exterminator as you could do the elimination yourself.
But then again, a DIY bed bug treatment will not be a success if you don’t have the necessary help, which in this case is a bed bug spray. With the spray, it would be much easier and faster for you to execute the process as it basically cuts the critters chance to multiply.

You should take note that not all bed bug sprays is good for your bed bug treatment. Though some are effective, they contain harmful chemicals that could be harmful to your health and even the planet. Worse, because some bed bugs also have developed immunity to some pesticide chemicals, other products could even be both ineffective and safe.
To avoid those kinds of bed bug sprays and prevent wasting your money, why not just opt Bed Bug Bully? The product is pesticide-exempt so you could rest assured that it could kill bed bugs without harming you and the environment.

Besides, many pest-control companies, hospitals and hotels have already approved its safety and effectiveness. Even EPA has already recognized it. It is now classified under FIFRA 25(b).
