On Tuesday morning, the Manhattan Criminal Court was a picture of just like any other courthouse. In several rooms, defenders and witnesses were questioned while spectators observed. However, that was before bed bugs decided to join in. Or so some people in one room thought.
According to a news, a courtroom designated for arraignments turned into a center of chaos after one man inside it was declared to have bed bugs. A court officer was said to have noticed a bustle at the back of the room and asked about it. Right then, a woman announced that bed bugs were creeping on the neck of the man beside her sending the people to scrambling.

An account of a 49-year-old female present during the incident stated that even the court officers were startled by the woman’s declaration. And unfortunately, as the people hurried out of the room, the man claimed to have the pest also fled from the scene. He was supposed to answer to a desk-appearance ticket.

The court’s spokesman David Bookstaver confirmed the commotion that happened. However, he cleared that no evidence of the pest was seen. Regardless, an exterminator was still brought in for “prophylactic measure,” in his own words.

This news about bed bugs causing a commotion in a courthouse is just another proof that those tiny bloodsucking pests could get in any place. Though it turned out that their presence in the courtroom was a false alarm, still, the incident showed that they could easily get inside. And surely, in other places, it’s the same thing.
Given that, you must be very careful not to pick up bed bugs and bring them back to your house. But you should remember that those crawlies are very sneaky. They could hitchhike even on the most unexpected items and hide in the tiniest cracks and gaps. Hence, it’s best that you also know how to effectively detect and kill bed bugs.

But why do the bed bug treatment yourself when there are pest-control companies that could do the work?
The answer to that is money. While it’s true that hiring an exterminator is your easiest option to eliminate bed bugs, it is also the most expensive. A single bed bug treatment could cost you from a few hundreds to thousands.
To avoid that big of an expense, what you need to do is to catch bed bugs before they breed and widely spread in your house. That’s why you need to detect them early. And because detecting those pests early means fewer bed bugs to kill, you don’t really need a professional help to do the treatment. You could do it yourself.

However, in a DIY bed bug treatment, you would need the help of a bed bug product. And of all those products especially made to kill bed bugs, Bed Bug Bully is your best option. Why is that? It is for three reasons.
- It makes the elimination process easy. Because it is in a form of a bed bug spray, when you find the pests, you just need to directly spray the solution to the infestation for it to work. No hassle and definitely, not much time and work are needed.
- It is effective. The product was already proven effective by hospitals, hotels and pest-control companies to kill bed bugs in just seconds.
- It is organic-based. Particularly, it is considered as pesticide-exempt. And that’s because it does not contain the chemicals that are common in pesticides. So, it is safe for health and even the environment. EPA has even recognized that and classified Bed Bug Bully under FIFRA 25(b).
