Phoenix, Arizona is in a big bed bug trouble. According to a report, the number of people having to live in their houses with the small and pesky insects is soaring.
A mart owner selling bug products said that the increase of bed bugs in the city is in a steady rate. As he accounted, in his store alone, about 6-10 people call everyday seeking help against those blood-feeding pests. And instead of calling pest-control companies right away, he suggested that bed bug victims should know how to kill bed bugs and try eliminating the pests by themselves first.
Compared with hiring the so-called experts on bed bugs, personal bed bug elimination could cut up to 80% of bed bug treatment cost, it was said in the report. But despite the much lower expense, it added that the method could deliver the same output with the professional bed bug treatment.

“Frank Gutierrez didn’t waste any time when he noticed what looked like a bed bug in his Phoenix home.
“As soon as I got it confirmed, I went to pick up everything I needed to get rid of them,” said Gutierrez.
Gutierrez isn’t the only one battling the pest. Bed and Weed Mart owner James La Brie says the number of people in the Valley fighting bed bugs is growing at a steady rate.”
