About a month ago, a black mold infestation was discovered in Meridian school in Mounds, Illinois. However, until today, the problem remains unresolved.
A previous report about the discovery of the mold in the school stated that an amount of approximately $6 million was needed to fix the mold problem. The amount, it was said, will be used for either the renovation of the building or the adding of a new one for the elementary classes.

But due to a limited funding and little response from state officials, the building remains closed and no renovation or construction has been started yet. On Tuesday, the school board decided to apply for $1.6 million Health Life Safety Bond in the hope that the problem will be given attention this time.

Rep. Brandon Phelps went to see for himself the infested building before the board meeting on Tuesday. And as said in the report, he promised parents that action will be taken to resolve the school’s black mold problem.

“Meridian district leaders held a special meeting Tuesday night to discuss the future of the elementary school.
That building remains shut down after toxic black mold was discovered in the walls nearly a month ago.
The district is considering two options for the building: renovate it to get rid of the mold or close it down and add on to the high school to make space for the elementary students. But with limited funding and little help from state officials, it’s now a waiting game.”

Black mold is a big risk to health, especially among the children and the elders. Basically, that’s because of their more sensitive immune system. Because of that, its presence in a Meridian School elementary building requires immediate action.
Though the building is shut down, the infestation could still get worse. And with that is the possibility of mold spores becoming airborne, which, in turn, could risk the health of everyone in the school.
But fact is, mold doesn’t just grow in schools. It’s infestation could occur anywhere, including your home. Hence, you must also be wary of its possible presence at your place. If you think you have a mold problem, promptly check to confirm it. And once it’s confirmed, immediately follow it up with a mold treatment.
If the infestation is not more than 10 square feet, you could do the mold removal by yourself and you could save money from it. However, of the many mold remediation sprays, nothing works better than Molderizer and Safe Shield. Those two products could make your mold treatment easy, quick and safe.

Molderizer could kill mold in just 30 to 60 seconds after its application. It works by changing the DNA make-up of the spores so you could rest assured that they are killed from the root to the tip. And if you follow it up by Safe Shield, you could protect the treated surface from possible mold re-infestation for up to four months.

If you’re worried about the products’ possible chemical content though, then know that you don’t need to. Both Molderizer and Safe Shield are made with organic ingredients. Hence, the use of them doesn’t risk your health nor does it harm the environment.
Try the products today and see for yourself how well they work.
