It seems that bed bugs are loving the Griffiths Hall in Unit 2 of the University of California, Berkeley. Although for sure, it isn’t the only dormitory that got a bed bug problem, the pests were seen in the fifth and seventh floors of it for the past few months already. And needless to say, its residents are bugged with the pests’ presence.

The latest sighting of bed bugs in the said campus housing was just last week. And as it was said, the eighth floor was the location of its most-recent outbreak.
Following the latest report of bed bug bites, officials of the dormitory were quickly on their feet. Actions were promptly taken to prevent the further spread of the blood-fed insects. Heat treatment would be implemented in the rooms affected by the pests, shared a freshman resident of the dormitory.

Residential and Student Service Programs Director of Communications and Marketing, Marty Takimoto, said that bed bug cases are common on campus. However, they are not limited to infesting dormitories, he added.

“Unit 2 residents reported a case of bedbug bites in Griffiths Hall last week, prompting campus officials to act fast in order to prevent the pests’ spread.
On Tuesday, dogs trained to detect bedbugs sniffed out rooms on the eighth floor, the location of the latest outbreak. Heat treatment will be applied to rooms in which bedbugs were found, according to freshman resident Katherine Takeshita.”

Indeed, bed bugs are not restricted to dormitories. They could infest any place. And given that they could hitchhike on anything unnoticed, they could also start an infestation anytime of the day.
But heat treatment is not the only way to get rid of the vampire-like insects. You could also exterminate them and their eggs with a bed bug spray. Particularly, you could do that with Bed Bug Bully.

Like the heat treatment, Bed Bug Bully could also kill bed bugs and their eggs. But because, it is a bed bug spray, it does that in a more convenient and faster way.
Moreover, as proven by its many users, including pest-control companies, hotel managers and house owners, Bed Bug Bully could eliminate the pests effectively. It could also complete the process safely given that it is a FIFRA 25(b) approved pesticide-exempt solution.
