Even fire stations, bed bugs don’t spare. And another one of it in Vegas, the pests recently invaded. However, according to the local firefighters, their complaints about the said vampire-like insects are sadly not being heard.
The fire station reported with the bed bug infestation is in Las Vegas’ Clark County. Particularly, the pests are said invading Fire Station 20, which is on Judson Avenue in Sunrise Manor.

Firefighters of Station 20 say they are fighting the pests for weeks already. And having been bitten by them, they say they are worried they might bring the pests back to their homes.
However, county officials assert they found no bed bugs in the station. Nevertheless, they say that they are investigating the problem and would take the necessary actions to get it solved.

According to sources, samples of bugs found in the station were already sent to the center for infectious disease control for testing. And as the county confirmed, two beds were also removed from it.

“Local firefighters say that their fire station is infested with bed bugs and their complaints to the county have fallen on deaf ears.
Clark County officials are investigating reports that there might be bed bugs inside Fire Station 20. But firefighters who work at the station on Judson Avenue in Sunrise Manor say that there is no doubt about it. They say they have been bitten by the bugs and have been battling the problem for weeks.”
