Phoney Green Cleaning Products You Should Be Avoiding!
Schools in Madrid, Segovia and Guadalajara have been warned not to buy – and to dispose of any existing supplies of – a cleaning product being sold under the ‘Ecolimpex’ brand, which may be dangerous.
Described on the label as “concentrated disinfectant detergent,” the product was actually manufactured illegally by a company that lacks any kind of operating licence or quality control system, and, to cap it all, does not actually do what it is supposed to.
The scam came to light when staff at a school in Paracuellos del Jarama (Madrid) reported to police that they had been sold a batch of cheap cleaning products that turned out to be totally useless.
In response, the regional education authority was informed, and they contacted all the schools in the area.
As a result, the company’s sales representative was arrested last Tuesday when he turned up at a primary school in Daganzo de Arriba (Madrid).
In the boot of his car, police found several cases of the product, promotional material and purchase orders from several schools in the aforementioned provinces.
Big Manufacturers Are Profiting From Lousy Products
This kind of news is just so irritating. In fact, as a manufacturer of green products, during a few years back I ran into these large manufacturer’s that were just looking to cut there product with water and get a little bit more profit on your expense.

It Is A Headache To Hope Products Work That Sit On Shelves
