Bed bugs could be introduced to a place in various ways. In many cases though, they are brought in via secondhand items. And that’s how a man in Chesterfield got his problems with them.
The man, who refused to identify himself, particularly blamed his purchased sofa for the infestation of the vampire-like critters at his newly-bought home. According to him, a day after he got the piece of furniture, he noticed one of those critters crawling on his mother and himself. And so, he contacted Rent A Center on Jefferson Davis Highway in Chester.

However, the company said that the branch where the item was bought has no history of bed bugs. Its spokesman said that all the pieces coming in and out of their stores are being sanitized. And though it couldn’t be proven that the critters came from the store, the company stated that they still sent out men to spray the pests in the invade sofa.

The customer though said that wasn’t enough for the physical and mental anguish that the crawlies brought in. He believed the company should pay for a complete home treatment and follow-up processes.
