An office building in Collin County in Plano, Texas was recently shut down. And it was because of the black mold discovered in some 15 percent of the structure.
The building houses several of the county’s offices. A number of them had to stop their operation and transfer temporarily to give way to the undergoing mold cleaning. Among those offices are of the community dental program and the county’s veteran services. Besides them, a private counseling firm also had to move out because of the mold problem.

Located at 900 East Park Boulevard, the structure is already 28 years old. And as it was said, the black mold in it, caused by the water leaks, was discovered six weeks prior.
However, a number of tenants and employees said they weren’t informed of any mold problem in the building. Bill Burke, the County’s construction manager, stated that though those weren’t informed were basically in areas not affected by the fungus’ presence.

But the transfer of offices and the worry among the tenants weren’t the only problems black mold brought in. On top of those two things, it also cost the county a hefty sum of money. So far, Collin County already spent $200,000 for the mold treatment. And as it is still far from over, the whole expense is expected to reach $500,000.
Here’s a part of the report Plano Building Closed Down Due to Black Mold from wfaa.com
“”Closed for mold.” That’s the message at a Plano office building that houses several Collin County agencies.
Work is underway to clean out dangerous black mold, but at least one private tenant said they were never told about the potential health hazard.”
Indeed, apart from various health risks, black mold or any other type of mold could leave you with a huge expense. With a single remediation process by a professional costing almost $1000, mold is truly an expensive predicament.
Molderizer was already tested and proven to eliminate the spores fast. And while doing that, it also changes their DNA make-up, which, consequently, blocks them re-growing.

On the other hand, Safe Shield provides an additional layer to the surface treated by Molderizer. That layer basically protects the item from the settling and growing of more spores, which prevents future infestation.

But that’s not all. In addition, those products offer a safe remediation. Generally, that’s because they are both made with organic ingredients.
