Lawrence Public Library holds a book sale every spring and fall. However, no thanks to bed bugs, the one scheduled for fall this year was canceled. And as said, the same thing could also happen to the other one planned for spring of 2014.
A report from one Lawrence website stated that the contamination of bed bugs started from less than 100 books donated for the book sale. The donor of the affected materials gave the organizers a call informing them of the presence of the vampire-like critters in them.

Last week, the infestation was confirmed. In effect, some two thousand books were put under quarantine and the others were classified as suspicious materials. However, Jeni Daly, Lawrence Library spokesperson, cleared that their own collection of books was never mixed with the donated ones. Hence, they are safe.
The book sale is a financial source of the library. Every year, it brings in about $70,000. But due to the scrubbing of possibly two book sales, Daley said that they would have to cut down their programs.

Friends of the Lawrence Public Library, a non-profit group, was the organizer of the event. The book sale was supposed to take place on September 26-29 at the Douglas County Fairgrounds.

Bed bugs are not exclusive to hotels and houses. Their discovery in Lawrence Library proves just that. And because that means you could pick them up almost everywhere nowadays, you have to be always ready to detect and eliminate them early.
One way to spot bed bugs before their presence turns into a massive infestation is to conduct regular inspection. Particularly, you have to routinely check the spots where they usually hide. That include cracks, crevices, couch, closet, carpets, curtains and of course, beds.

Meanwhile, to kill bed bugs early, you could call in a bed bug exterminator or implement a DIY bed bug treatment as soon as possible. But though hiring a bed bug professional makes things easy for you, it is expensive. And if you detect bed bugs early, this option is not cost-effective as that means there are still few of those critters that you have to eliminate.

So, to save yourself from unnecessary huge expense, why not get rid of bed bugs with Bed Bug Bully instead? The product could cut your bed bug treatment spending without compromising the effectiveness of your elimination process. That was already proven by hospitals, hotels and even pest-control companies.
Moreover, this bed bug spray is safe as it is made with organic ingredients. The absence of chemicals allows to effectively kill the pests without leaving residues harmful to health and the environment.
