Bed bugs also go to school. After all, the place, with its many students, offers them a lot of opportunities to feed themselves. And as a report has it, a university in Ohio was one of those campuses that they recently visited.
Wright State University in Fairborn was that Ohio university recently plagued by bed bugs. Specifically, one of its dormitories, the Laurel Hall, was the critters’ latest casualty.
The small but terrible insects were said discovered in the hall when a routine dorm inspection was implemented before the moving in of student athletes. A couple of pesky creatures were found, though, it was said to be only in one room.
To get rid of the pests, the school got the room heated up to 130 degrees for six hours. And to prevent them from re-infesting the dorm again, the university also calls in an exterminator for routine bed bug inspection.
