As recently reported, bed bugs were again spotted in yet another school. And as unwelcome as they are, actions were promptly taken to get rid of them.
This time, those vampire-like insects were said spotted in Trenton Central High School West. Parents and guardians were informed of the situation via a letter sent to them on Friday.

The school district’s building and grounds executive director, Everett Collins, said that several of High West’s classrooms and common areas were already wiped with alcohol to get rid of bed bugs. The alcohol, she stated, was mandated by the state. That’s because other chemical-based sprays could be harmful to the kids.

Three or four bed bugs were said confirmed present in Trenton High West. Collins stated that schools were trying to pinpoint who brought them in among the students and staff but added that it’s hard.
A number of bed bugs was also said spotted in P.J. Hill Elementary School.
