Bed bugs are real pain. And among the counties really feeling the headache that their increase in number brings is Oneida County in New York.
The pests are now widely spread in the county that its health department gets up to 14 calls a week about the pests. Cathe Bullwinkle, quality improvement coordinator for the Oneida County Health Department, said that during winter, the health office only receives an estimated three-four calls a week regarding the crawlies.
