Bed bugs were discovered in yet another housing complex. This time, it victimized the Fillion Terrace Senior Center in Somersworth, New Hampshire. And according to Somersworth Housing Authority Assistant Director Deborah Evans, it’s not the first time that the pests caused havoc to its residents.

As shared by one resident of the Fillon Terrace, his unit underwent bed bug extermination for the fifth time already. His neighbor above his unit also went through the same treatments. And as he added, the housing authority said that if the infestation repeats, he would have to pay for the extermination himself. The reason is simple – the treatment is expensive.
Evans determined that depending on the size of the residence, the bed bug treatment could cause $800 to $1,100. And based on her accounting records, SHA already paid for it six times for the senior housing complex since 2011.

But the pests are not yet finished. As reported, they infested yet another unit and it’s scheduled for a heat treatment on Thursday. However, according to the affected resident, the humidity that comes with it is “unbearable” on his own words.

There are many treatment methods you could implement to kill bed bugs. One of them is the heat treatment. However, it is expensive and couldn’t be done promptly. In a way, it would allow the pests to increase their number and make the elimination even harder.

For an immediate bed bug treatment, a bed bug spray is better pick. And of the many you could purchase, Bed Bug Bully is the best. That’s because apart from making the process easy and prompt, it also makes it safe as it is made with organic ingredients. In fact, it is even approved as pesticide-exempt by FIFRA 25(b).
