The said charity will basically promote clean energy. Specifically, it will be reaching out to different communities and educate the people about the good things that solar energy can bring.
To kick off his campaign for solar energy, the Grey’s Anatomy actor had already starred in a short film for the Trina Solar. In the said film, Patrick highlighted the good works of the company. However, he cleared that he is not the company spokesperson but is motivated by a personal interest in the solar energy.
Additionally, it’s said that he plans to install solar panels in his own California home.

Back in June, Patrick Dempsey announced that global solar panel manufacturer Trina Solar would not only become a sponsor of his Dempsey Racing team – but also work with him to launch a new clean energy charity.
