Ryan Reynolds is going green. And I mean not just in the movie screen but also in real life. The “Green Lantern” star just recently partnered with Nissan to promote electric cars and healthy lifestyle.
The actor who just got separated from her wife for two years, Scarlett Johansson, will soon be seen in the car company’s digital, print and video marketing campaign. Ryan Hall, Tara Stiles, Levi Leipheimer and Cris Carmichael will be joining him on the said campaign.
A Leaf owner himself, Ryan seems to really believe that electric cars are a big help to the environment. And because the campaign is a healthy lifestyle program, fitness enthusiasts can expect more green and healthy tips and updates from it.

Green Lantern star (and stone cold fox) Ryan Reynolds has teamed up with Nissan North America to promote the Nissan Leaf — a 100% electric car– and to help launch their “Innovation for Endurance” campaign.
The campaign is an integrated healthy lifestyle program that showcases that latest in running, cycling, strength training, yoga, and general fitness.
Reynolds, a Leaf owner, stated, “I believe it’s possible to take great leaps forward without sacrificing a way of life. For me electric vehicles, like the Nissan Leaf, are not only representative of taking back the power, but also a significant statement about conscious ways of living.”
The 34-year-old actor will be involved with digital, print, and video marketing for the campaign, and he’ll be joined by program innovators Ryan Hall, an Olympian, Tara Stiles, author of Slim Calm Sexy, Levi Leipheimer, elite cyclist and three-time Tour of California champion, and Chris Carmichael, coach to Lance Armstrong.
