In Stroudsburg Area School District, rumors were spreading that Intermediate Elementary School has a problem with mold. And to clear the school’s reputation, Superintendent John Toleno made a move.
It wasn’t identified who exactly spread the rumors about the school being contaminated by the spores. However, it was said that its faculty had some concerns about the air quality throughout the building.
Toleno stated he wasn’t aware of any complaints regarding a mold problem in the campus. But to quell the issues and assure the public that it is safe, the district ordered that Intermediate Elementary School would be tested.
A third party company was selected to do the testing in the campus. And as the Toleno said, he is confident that it would come out clean.
The test is expected to be completed in the next two weeks. It is estimated to cost $7,600.
