All because of a broken pipe that led to a mold concern, classes at Harrisburg school district in Oregon was canceled.
The broken pipe flooded the cafeteria of Harrisburg Elementary School. That caused a mold issue at the soaked area, which prevented the offering of food service to the students.

And so, as a result, all K-12 classes in Harrisburg school district were suspended on Thursday, December 19, 2013. Nonetheless, the students’ athletic practices and events would proceed as scheduled.

The school district said that they would continue to monitor the situation and keep the concerned parties informed.
